Call for Papers for Young Scholars
Migration in Morocco: Policy Implications and Legal Challenges
for the
International Conference on intra-African migration
October 18 –19, 2019
It is our pleasure to announce the Call for Papers for the annual conference on migration of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Rabat called “Carrefour de la migration” which will take place on October 18-19, 2019 in Rabat (Café Renaissance). This international conference will be hosted by the Heinrich Böll foundation Rabat.
Young scholars from all disciplines and nationalities are invited to submit accomplished papers dealing with migration policies and legal challenges of migrants and refugees in Morocco. Applicants are asked to submit an abstract of max. 250 words, a relevant paper and a short biography of max. 250 words (in English or French) to lena.richter@ma.boell.org until September 22, 2019. Notification of the accepted paper is September 30, 2019.
The young selected scholar will present her/his findings (15 minutes) on the second day of the conference. The presentation will be followed by an intervention of experienced researchers in the field and policymakers, who will comment and debate the results.
In case of acceptance, the foundation will take care of accommodation and transport, as well as a small remuneration.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer l'appel à contributions pour la conférence annuelle de la Fondation Heinrich Böll intitulée « Carrefour de la migration » qui aura lieu les 18 et 19 octobre 2019 à Rabat (Café Renaissance). Cette conférence internationale sera organisée par la fondation Heinrich Böll de Rabat.
Les jeunes chercheurs/ses de toutes disciplines et nationalités sont invités à soumettre un article accompli en lien avec les questions migratoires au Maroc. Les candidat(e)s doivent soumettre un résumé de max. 250 mots, un article pertinent et une biographie de max. 250 mots (en anglais ou français) à lena.richter@ma.boell.org jusqu'au 22 septembre 2019. L'annonce de l'article accepté est prévue pour le 30 septembre 2019.
Le/la jeune chercheur/se sélectionné/e présentera ses conclusions (15 minutes) le deuxième jour de la conférence. La présentation sera suivie d'une intervention de décideurs politiques, ainsi que de chercheur-se-s expérimenté-e-s dans le domaine.
En cas d'approbation, l'hébergement et le transport seront pris en charge par la Fondation. Une rémunération symbolique est également prévue.
