Living on Luck The Story Behind Zagora’s Watermelons Rippling beneath Zagora’s oases and watermelon fields is a story of scarcity, underdevelopment, and ingenuity. Drought has changed living in the southeastern region of Morocco and reconfigured irrigation practices. pdf
4891 Center, mid dial almost, The night is nigh as the gnomon slowly marches toward the heart of the glass plate perching on Queen Omelas’s Sahasrara. Too quick, to ease their anticipating thoughts, yet too slow to race their beating hearts.
Will we ever escape? “Okay, this is what we prepared for people. Get your go bags, we can’t stay here any longer. We need to get to higher ground immediately. Go, go, go! The first barrier has broken, we cannot wait any longer. We need to move.” Yoda hadn’t seen security make such a serious evacuation attempt in a long time. She had only been five last time a dike had broken. All she remembered was the fear in people’s eyes as they rushed to try and find somewhere safe. She now recognized that look in her brother’s eyes. Had another dike been breached, or was it far worse? And why didn’t her brother tell them what was going on? Par Imane BEllamine
The future of our Earth It has been 60 years since the effects of climate change killed over half of the world's population and destroyed the planet’s ecosystems. There were, thankfully, some survivors who brought the remaining nations together and launched a space station called Hope. This became a new home for the for the remaining survivors, saving humanity from annihilation. Par Fatna Ikrame El Fanne
